Perenne (Spanish):
- Continuous, incessant, that has no intermission.
Word in Castilian that comes from the ltín 'perennis', "per" as a prefix over the root "annus" (year). The Romans had a divinity called Anna Perenna, represented as an old woman. His legend says that he provided food for the public by freeing them from hunger. His feast was celebrated on the day of the Ides (full moon day) in March.
